OctoMaks is a joint venture between Octopus JSC of Russia & Maksika Resources Pvt. Ltd. of India, started in 2018 as a geophysical service provider mainly Low Frequency Seismic (LFS) studies. We specialize in locating precise drilling locations for brown field hydrocarbon reservoirs and experts in reservoir characterization studies & production enhancement.

Started with a goal of saving resources in development, our competent and talented teams came up with an idea of performing natural seismic background spectrum analysis at low frequency range using LFS. It is a combination of engineering disciplines, along with computer science, geophysics, and integrated interpretation by the versatile minds which also enabled us to provide a full cycle of micro seismic emission (Full Wave Location - FWL) monitoring surveys to solve both geological and
technological challenges such as hydraulic fracture monitoring.

Field development planning is another major area where we possess our skill. Pulsing the behaviour of micro seismic shows monotonous distribution of the seismic energy along the spectrum in homogenous geological environment. Spectral peaks of the seismic energy generated by the various geological inhomogeneities have different distinguishing features. Thus, oil-saturated reservoir generates a strong anomaly which enables us to estimate the fluid saturation of a reservoir.
